Flows are a core Octane AI feature that lets you to send automated messages to your customers based on their actions. 

Octane AI offers a variety of ways a flow can be triggered, such as when a customer abandons their cart or opts in to receive shipping updates from you through Messenger.

Tip: Enterprise and Pro users also have the ability to create custom flows based on custom triggers. 

Once setup and activated, flows are an on-going feature. This means your flow will stay active and send messages to any subscriber that meets the trigger requirements (such as abandoning a cart).

Flows do need to adhere to Facebook's 24-hour messaging rule, which only allows promotional messages to be sent to a subscriber for 24 hours after the last time they interacted with your bot.

Can I send a flow outside of the 24-hour window?

Flows can only be sent by your bot for 24 hours after a user interacts with your bot. This does mean that if your flow has follow-up messages (either in a custom flow, or follow-up abandonment reminders) they do have to be sent within that 24-hour period as well.
To send promotional messages to subscribers outside of that 24-hour window, you can use the following features:
