What is the Shopping Assistant?
The Shopping Assistant is a new widget that appears on your store. When clicked, it opens a configurable modal window where the customer can select one of your quizzes. The whole purchasing experience, from searching for their ideal products to adding them to the cart and completing the purchase, can take place from this one widget.
How to activate the Shopping Assistant
You can activate the widget and edit it in two ways:
Click on Shopping Assistant under Quizzes, on the left in your dashboard:
βWhile having the editor open for any of your quizzes, go to the Publish tab -> Add to Shopping Assistant:
β
This will automatically add the quiz to the Shopping Assistant.
Overview of the Shopping Assistant settings
Shopping Assistant offers many settings so you can customize how it looks and works. Let us go over them. First of all, let us turn it on.

You can now choose your quizzes by clicking Add a quiz under Content -> Selected quizzes. If you accessed the shopping assistant via a quiz Publish tab, it will be added here automatically:
It will open a list with all of your quizzes. You can select which ones you would like to make available in the Shopping Assistant. When you are done, click on Add quizzes to add your quizzes to the assistant:
Your selected quizzes will be displayed now under Selected quizzes:

You can select which quiz will be displayed first when the widget opens. If you select None, the customer will be able to select the quiz they want to take:

Script Installation
Here you can select whether you want the Shopping Assistant script to automatically run on all your Shopify pages, or if you want to add it manually to specific pages.
If you select Automatic, the Shopping Assistant will automatically run on all your Shopify pages. Keep in mind that this means the script will run in the backend, but the Shopping Assistant widget/popup will only be displayed if it matches the rules you set up on Targeting & triggers as well:
If you select Manual, you will be shown the embed code as well as the Liquid conditional code, which you can use to add to your theme or individual pages:
