Octane AI supports subscription apps that use Shopify Selling Plans. Subscription products and their available plans automatically sync from Shopify, allowing customers to choose subscription or one-time purchase options directly from your quiz results.

Other subscription apps that use Shopify Selling Plans are supported as well.
Enable subscriptions
Before you can show subscription options in your quizzes, subscriptions need to be enabled for your Octane AI account. You can do it in Integrations > Subscription products > Actions.
Once subscriptions are enabled for the account, you can control whether they are shown in each individual product block.
This gives you two levels of control:
Account level: Enable subscription functionality for your account.
Product block level: Choose whether subscription options are shown or hidden for products in a specific block.
Add subscription products to your quiz
Subscription products from your Shopify store are automatically available when building your quiz. You don't need to connect your subscription app separately.
Products with subscription options display a Selling Plan icon, making them easy to identify when adding products to your quiz.
Once added to a product block with subscriptions enabled, customers can see and select available subscription plans directly on the quiz results page. If you add new subscription products or plans in Shopify, they'll automatically become available in Octane AI. You can recommend both subscription and one-time purchase products in the same quiz.
Customize subscription options
Open a product block and go to Product Subscriptions to control how subscription products are displayed in that block.
You can enable or disable subscriptions for the block. When subscriptions are enabled, you can choose which purchase options are available to customers, such as:
One-time purchase only
Subscription only
One-time purchase and subscription
If you offer both one-time purchase and subscription, you can also choose which option is selected by default.
Hide subscriptions from a product block
If subscriptions are enabled for your account but you don't want to show them in a specific part of your quiz, you don't need to disable subscriptions for the entire account.
Open the product block, go to Product Subscriptions, and disable subscriptions for that block.
You can enable subscriptions for some product blocks and keep them disabled for others within your quizzes.
