By connecting Octane AI and Alloy, you can run powerful automations between Octane AI and other platforms by using pre-built recipes or even creating your own workflows from scratch.

To connect Octane AI with Alloy, you'll need to authenticate your Octane AI account within Alloy first using your bot ID and API key. Read ahead for step-by-step instructions on how to do this.

From the Alloy dashboard, create a new workflow. If you already have a recipe in mind that you'd like to use, you can select a recipe. For this guide, we'll be creating a workflow from scratch.

Use the search bar to quickly complete this step.

You can get your credentials in the Integrations page of your Octane AI dashboard. Find the Alloy section, click the drop-down menu and select "Setup" to receive your bot ID and API key

Your Octane AI account is now connected and will be selectable whenever creating a workflow or recipe with Octane AI in Alloy.

The easiest way to use Alloy is to add one of the pre-built recipes to your Alloy dashboard. If you know the recipe you'd like to use already, you can select one when you create a new Workflow.

Alloy's Marketplace has a large amount of recipes that have been built for you already, including a number of recipes that help you connect Octane AI with platforms like Omnisend and Mailchimp.

Once you find the recipe you'd like to try, simply add the workflow to your dashboard!

Just keep in mind that an account with the platform you're connecting with will also be required to use a recipe.
