Embedding quizzes in a Shopify page
Octane AI quizzes can be displayed in any environment that allows for HTML embedding. An example of this is any webpage on your Shopify store, but would not include HTML emails (emails don't allow for this type of code to run for security purposes).
One of the locations you can embed a quiz is in the order status page, which is the page that appears after checkout is complete.
💡 Finding the quiz embed code
Open your quiz in the quiz editor.
Go to the Publish tab on the top menu.
Click on Shopify page.
Copy the text code provided for the "Page body" embed option.
Adding a quiz to the order status page
Quizzes can be embedded in the order status page through Shopify settings (found in the Shopify admin dashboard).
📕 Adding a quiz to the order status page
From the Shopify admin dashboard, go to Settings.
Go to Checkout & accounts.
Scroll down until you find the Order status page section.
In the "Additional scripts" section, paste your quiz's embed code.
Scroll down and click Save.
Make sure you used your quiz's page body embed code, rather than the fullscreen code. This will ensure your customers will still be able to see the rest of the order status page screen.
