Smart Copy is available for all quiz types (AI, Dynamic and Custom).
The Smart Copy feature is available as a premium add-on to all our plans. It can be accessed through a separate subscription, priced at just USD $0.01 per piece of text generated.
What is Smart Copy
With Smart Copy, you can have AI write the texts inside your quiz's results pages for you. You can type in your prompts, and it will follow your instructions to write a unique text for the customer.
It can use the customer's answers, their recommended products, and whatever else you tell it to use in your prompt. Your imagination is the limit here!
How to Subscribe to the Smart Copy feature
To get started, you will need to subscribe to Smart Copy separately. To do so, follow these steps:
Go to your Octane AI dashboard.
Click on Settings on the left.
In the Settings page, under Features subscriptions -> Smart Copy Billing, click on Pricing:
Confirm the price and click on Subscribe Now:
You'll be taken to Stripe, where you will need to confirm your payment information and subscribe to Smart Copy. Once you have subscribed, Smart Copy will be active for your account.
How the pricing works
Smart Copy costs USD $0.01 per copy generated. This means that if you have published a quiz, a customer takes your quiz, and a piece of text is generated for them via Smart Copy, you will be charged for that piece of text that was generated.
This is applied to each piece of text that is generated, so if you have two paragraphs and one title that is generated via Smart Copy, there will be three charges of USD $0.01 for each generated copy.
You can preview the Smart Copy feature in the quiz editor, and fine-tune your prompts as much as you need, you will not be charged for the preview version. You will only be charged for generated Smart Copy texts on the published quiz on your live website.
How to use Smart Copy in your quiz
To start using Smart Copy:
Open your quiz in the editor.
Click the desired product block under its result page on the left.
Click on Custom Content on the right.
On either TOP CONTENT or BOTTOM CONTENT, click on Add content.
Click on Smart Copy:
Inside the Smart Copy block, you will have a couple of options available, here is an overview of all of them:
Display on: choose whether you want to display the Smart Copy text block only on Mobile, Desktop, or both.
Default text: the format that you would like to use for your default text, you can choose according to your needs between Body text, Title, Heading, Subheading, and Caption text.
Fallback text: the placeholder text that will appear for the customer in case anything wrong happens with Smart Copy and it does not work in that session.
Instructions for AI: this is the prompt you will feed to the AI, which will do its best to follow your instructions, so try to be as specific as you possibly can here.
Following our example image above, this is the message that was written for the user when our quiz was taken:
As you can see, it used the customer's answers (their name, price range, and color preference) to write a personalized message in the style that was requested in the prompt. You can play around with the prompt, and ask the AI to use a different writing style, use all of the customer's answers or only specific answers, and whatever else comes to your mind. You can be as creative as you want or as detailed as you need.
How to cancel your Smart Copy subscription
To cancel your subscription to Smart Copy:
Go to your Octane AI dashboard.
Click on Settings on the left.
In the Settings page, under Features subscriptions -> Smart Copy Billing, click on Manage Billing, then click on Cancel subscription:
