You'll need to have Octane AI's Yotpo integration connected.
You can now send email and SMS opt-ins from your quizzes directly to Yotpo lists! The integration gives you control over which lists receive that data - at both a global and quiz-specific level.
Use integration globally or just for specific quizzes
With the Yotpo integration, you have two levels of control:
Global Toggle – Turn Yotpo syncing on or off for all quizzes.
Quiz-Level Toggle – Choose whether or not a specific quiz should sync to Yotpo.
List Selection – Choose which Yotpo lists to send opt-ins to, either during setup (defaults) or per quiz.
When to use the global toggle?
When you're testing or building a quiz, you probably don't want test opt-ins syncing to real Yotpo lists. That’s why we added a global toggle.
You can now enable or disable the Yotpo integration across all your quizzes with one setting.
When the global setting "Enable Yotpo integration globally to all your quizzes" is disabled, none of the quizzes will sync to Yotpo, even if the quiz-specific toggle is on.
Best practice: Disable this toggle while testing to avoid sending test data to real lists.
Controlling integration per quiz
When the quiz setting "Enable Yotpo integration from this quiz" is turned on and the global setting is also enabled, this quiz will sync data to Yotpo. If the quiz toggle is off, no data from this quiz will be sent to Yotpo, even if the global setting is on.
Selecting Yotpo lists
Yotpo integration lets you select any of your Yotpo lists to sync quiz subscribers, even if you didn’t include them during setup.
How the list selection works:
During setup, choose default Yotpo lists for email and SMS opt-ins.
In the quiz editor, you can override the default list by selecting specific lists just for that quiz.
If there isn't a specific list chosen in the quiz, opt-ins will sync to the default lists selected in the setup.
Syncing logic and priority examples
Here are three possible scenarios:
Global integration setting is OFF | Opt-ins won't be synced, regardless of other settings. |
Global integration setting is ON + Quiz-level toggle is OFF | Opt-ins won't be synced for that specific quiz. |
Global integration setting is ON + Quiz-level toggle is ON | If the quiz has selected lists, opt-ins will sync to those lists.
If the quiz has no selected lists, opt-ins will sync to the default lists chosen in setup |
