The Recart integration automatically sends SMS quiz subscribers and their quiz data to Recart. Once connected, you can trigger Recart's opt-in flow and use quiz answers and results to create personalized SMS messages.
Connect Recart
Before getting started, you'll need your API Key and Site ID from Recart.
Sign in to your Recart account and find your API Key and Site ID under Account Settings.
In Octane AI, go to Integrations and find Recart.
Enter your API Key and Site ID in the corresponding fields.
Activate the integration.
Your Recart integration is now connected.
Send quiz data to Recart
When someone submits their phone number and completes your quiz, Octane AI sends their quiz data to Recart through the quiz.completed event.
This can include:
Phone number
Quiz answers
Quiz results page URL
The customer's Recart opt-in flow will then be triggered. Once they confirm their opt-in, they'll become a Recart subscriber for your store.
Personalize SMS messages with quiz data
Once quiz data is synced to Recart, you can use merge tags to personalize your SMS messages with information collected through the quiz. For example, you can include a customer's quiz answers or their Quiz Results URL, which links back to the personalized results page they received after completing the quiz.
Before you start collecting subscribers, make sure your quiz custom properties are labeled correctly in the Integrations tab of the quiz editor.

How do I know if the integration is working? After activating the integration, complete your quiz using a test phone number. The phone number should appear in Recart, and the Recart opt-in flow should be triggered.
Can I send quiz answers to Recart? Yes. Octane AI sends quiz answers along with the subscriber's phone number and results page URL. You can use this data to personalize your Recart SMS messages.
What happens if the customer doesn't confirm their opt-in? Only customers who complete Recart's opt-in process will be added to your Recart subscriber list.
