Keywords are terms that customers can text to opt into your Postscript messaging. With Octane AI, you can automatically connect it to a specific keyword - use this guide to learn how.

πŸ’‘ What you'll learn

πŸ’‘ Prerequisites

Using the Postscript integration will require an active Postscript account.

While any keyword can be used with Octane AI, creating a keyword specifically for your Octane AI integration will allow you to easily set up a post-quiz automation flow.

If you don't intend on inserting quiz data into your welcome flow, you can use an existing keyword instead.

Creating a keyword

  1. In Postscript, go to Acquisition β†’ Keywords.

  2. On the right, click on Create Keyword.

  3. Enter a name for your keyword, and optionally include a coupon.

  4. Click Save Keyword.

When connecting Postscript to Octane AI, you'll now be able to select this keyword. Optionally, you can also use an existing keyword with your Octane AI account.

The keyword you use for Octane AI can then be used to send a post-quiz SMS, where you can include personalized content like a link back to the customer's quiz results or specific quiz replies.

What to know about keywords

The double opt-in message flow for keywords can be customized in the keyword's page.

Quiz data can't be inserted in the keyword's messages, but you can create an Automation that sends if someone subscribes through a specific keyword.

If you trigger an Automation through your quiz keyword, you'll be able to insert data from a customer's quiz session and use that Automation as a quiz-specific welcome flow.
