Getting Started with Gorgias

Learn how to activate and use the Gorgias integration with Octane AI. Sync customers' quiz data to your helpdesk.

Enabling the Integration

To enable the integration, go to the Integrations menu on your dashboard, then click "Add" next to Gorgias:

You will be prompted to insert your account sudomain. Insert the subdomain as shown in the example below, then click "Connect to Gorgias":

Approve access if requested:

You will be shown the confirmation message once the integration has been connected successfully:

Viewing the Quiz Data in the Gorgias Customer Profile

Once a customer takes your quiz and submits their email or phone number, their profile will be created in Gorgias. Let us check a profile to see what it looks like. First, click on the profile:

Then, click on the "Edit widgets" button:

You will then see the customer's Shopify profile information:

And the data from the quiz, shown in the Custom section:

Using the Quiz Data in a Gorgias Ticket

When you create a ticket, or the customer with quiz data creates a ticket, you will be able to see their quiz data on the right:

This will allow you to personalize your support, as well as check any useful information from their quiz submission that could be relevant to the ticket.

What Data is Sent From the Quiz to Gorgias

The data sent to Gorgias includes the quiz custom properties that are set up in the quiz's Connect tab, as well as the product information for products that were recommended by the quiz, such as price, title, ID, etc.

Any other information that is sent to integrations, such as product blocks and Smart Copy instances, is also sent to Gorgias.
