Hiding products that are out of stock from your collections and tags

Products can be set to automatically hide when out of stock which can be useful if you have products that frequently rotate in and out of stock.

However, individually added products are hidden differently than products added by tag or collection.

Hiding all out of stock products

By default, the setting to hide out of stock products will be enabled. If unselected, the product will still appear but notify the customer that it's out of stock rather than allowing a purchase.

  1. In the quiz editor, go to Settings.

  2. Select the checkbox "Hide the out of stock manually added products".

Hiding products added by collection & tag

Out of stock products can also be hidden inside of specific tags & collections. This option is only needed if the general option to hide out of stock products is disabled.

  1. Find the answer that the collection or tag will go in.

  2. Click Select included products.

  3. Hover over the collection or tag you want to edit.

  4. Click on the View collection or View tag button that appears.

  5. Select the checkbox "Hide out of stock products".

  6. Save your changes.

  1. Find the result page the collection or tag will go in.

  2. Click on the content block that will hold the products. If there is none, create a new content block.

  3. On the left menu under PRODUCTS, click Add products If the collection or tag is already in, click Edit instead.

  4. Hover over the collection or tag you want to edit.

  5. Click on the View collection or View tag button that appears.

  6. Select the checkbox "Hide out of stock products".

  7. Save your changes.
