Your Octane AI dashboard keeps a record of customers who opt-in through your quizzes. Each list will help you contextualize your Octane AI subscribers.

๐Ÿ’ก What you'll learn

How lists work in Octane AI, and where to locate them.

๐Ÿ’ก Prerequisites

In order to be able to see any customer data, you need to have a live quiz with an opt-in included.

Why is this important?

Customer lists in Octane store all of your opt-ins, which you can view and export at any time.

Creating custom lists isn't necessary for most cases but is available as an option.

Opt-in lists (default)

The default customer lists are:

  • People with email

  • SMS subscribers

Additional lists can be created manually, or automatically include customers based on opt-in source.

Any list a customer is part of in Octane AI can be sent to integrations as a custom property.

Customer information

Subscribers in Octane AI can have several pieces of information associated with them.

Platforms will indicate the customer's opt-in source.

  • Onsite: a quiz published on a website

  • Shopify: a quiz published in a Shopify website

  • Email: email opt-in given

  • Phone: SMS opt-in given

  • Facebook (legacy): Facebook Messenger opt-in given

Creating a list for quiz answers

Create lists based on subscribers who selected specific answers in your quiz with these steps:

  1. In Octane AI, go to the Quiz page.

  2. Click on the name of your quiz to open the quiz's stats page.

  3. Scroll down to the Engagement stats.

  4. Find the question and answer you'd like to make a list for.

  5. Click on the "+" icon.

Anyone who selects that answer and gives an opt-in will be added to the list you created.
